We're not trying to be REI. We're the kind of shop where you can ask a question and get an honest answer from someone who paddled that boat last Tuesday or wandered a trail last weekend. Beyond paddling gear, we're the place that catches many of the "10 essentials" — sunscreen, day packs, water bottles — as well as bike tubes, quality clothing worth building a layering system around, and even poop bags for the dog who came along.
 

Beyond outdoor equipment and apparel, we've been curating a bit further: field guides and books we've actually read (or at least have on the nightstand, somewhere in a stack of ten others), nature-inspired finds, and other things we genuinely use or love ourselves, often from small makers or women-led brands. If it made us stop and say "we need this in the shop," it's probably here.
