Paddle Lots.
Laugh Often.
Eat Well.
Have Fun.

Connect with other outdoor enthusiasts at our 2024 WOW! (Women On Water) trips!

Trips are suitable for all levels of paddlers — all you need is a willingness to both play and learn while enjoying camaraderie among female outdoor enthusiasts. We are there for one another to grow and have fun regardless of where we are on our outdoor journeys. Your lead guides love teaching, helping people gain confidence, and even giving opportunities for others to hone a skill. WOW! trips are capped at just 10–12 participants to deliver a small-group experience (why the range? — just in case that procrastinating friend decides to join you).

Three-Night WOW! (Lodging available)

  • Sunday, June 23 – Wednesday, June 26, 2024

  • Sunday, August 11 – Wednesday, August 14, 2024

Two-Night WOW! (Lodging available)

  • Tuesday, September 3 – Thursday, September 5, 2024

What’s Included:

  • Chef-Curated Meals (thats either 5 or 8 meals [one brunch]), some snacks, + Coffee, Tea, and Hot Cocoa

  • P&H, Current Designs, and Dagger Touring Sea Kayaks (fleet is 2021 or newer) — solo and tandem kayaks!

  • PFDs (aka life jackets), Wetsuits (if needed based on conditions), and Werner Paddles

  • 2 Personable and ACA-Trained Guides (also local experts)

During our inaugural 2023 WOW!s, we learned that everyone wanted the extra night in order to enjoy more food (as well as additional paddling and downtime). Both options will have campfires, sunsets, morning yoga, and an open crafting bar for trying your hand at some fun craft ideas. Meals are created by a local female chef who graduated from the Les Cheneaux Culinary School; we promise this is more than a boxed sandwich because good food both feeds and fuels our souls (and if you have dietary restrictions, talk to us about accommodations)!

There are cabins and beds available at the WOW! home-base nestled on McKay Bay just east of Cedarville — book quickly to secure your first-choice on-site lodging! Lodging includes sheets, towels, access to a washer & dryer, and for some guests — a private bath or having a whole cabin for your group. As an FYI, short-stay lodging is often difficult and expensive to find "up north" in the summer which is why we worked to provide this lodging option. If you have cottage to stay at locally, you will participate in meals but skip lodging costs.

  • Participants wanting to utilize their own kayak, upon approval of the boat's suitability, will be given either a $75 (2-night) or $100 (3-night) discount.
  • Lodging not included in the WOW! base price.
  • Alcoholic and other soft drinks are BYO.
  • 6 participants per workshop minimum.
